SBI Scholarship: The State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a big scholarship program called the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025. This scholarship is for Indian students who need financial help to continue their studies. The support is huge – students can get up to ₹20 lakh, and the last date to apply is 15 November 2025.
Why SBI Started This Scholarship?
SBI Foundation wants to support students from middle and lower-income families so that money does not stop them from studying in good schools, colleges, or even abroad. SBI has kept aside ₹90 crore for this program in FY26, and more than 23,000 students will get help.
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)
1.Indian citizen – Only students from India can apply.
2.Good academic record – Students must have at least 75% marks or 7.0 CGPA in their last exam.
3.Family income limit:
- For Class 9–12 students – Family income should be below ₹3,00,000 per year.
- For College/University students – Family income should be below ₹6,00,000 per year.
Which Students Will Get This Scholarship?
- Class 9 to 12 school students.
- Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students in top 300 NIRF-ranked or NAAC “A” grade colleges.
- Students of IITs and IIMs.
- Students doing medical courses.
- Students going for higher studies abroad (SC/ST candidates will be given priority for top global universities).
SBI Scholarship Amount
Amount will depend on the course.
Can be from ₹15,000 per year to ₹20 lakh for higher studies (especially abroad or in top institutes).

- Marksheet of last academic year.
- Admission proof / fee receipt.
- Income certificate of family.
- Aadhaar card or any valid ID proof.
- Bank account details of the student.
- Caste certificate (if applicable).

- Register yourself with email/mobile number.
- Fill in all details – name, class/course, income, etc.
- Upload scanned documents.
- Submit and keep a copy of the application form for future use.
